Who's ready for a GREAT year in Grade 3?Welcome to our class website! We are glad that you have decided to visit our classroom. This website is designed to foster communication between home and school. As you explore this website, you will be able to see our class schedule, read about special events, download our weekly homework assignments, meet our teacher, learn about our third grade curriculum, and meet our class. I hope you enjoy exploring our class site. This year we will be communicating between home and school by using email instead of our past "Communication Journal". Please refer to our school's monthly newsletter, calendar, and/or our class Weebly for important dates and messages that may or may not be done daily. This also gives parents the opportunity in writing notes to their teachers (i.e. bussing changes, questions to the teacher, concerns, etc.). Please share what you learn about our classroom with your family and friends. Enjoy your journey!

Library Book Exchange day (Engel Room 5): Book exchanges are done weekly EVERY Thursday at 10:00am - 11:30am or 12:30pm - 1:00pm (these dates are subject to change) Scholastic Book Orders (Engel Room 5): Your child’s class will be placing orders with Scholastic throughout the school year. This provides you with the opportunity to purchase books at a reduced cost and to earn free books for our classroom to enjoy at school. Once the forms have been sent home, we have a weeks time to send in your order forms back to school. **PLEASE NOTE: When placing an order, please use the correct dollar amounts (i.e. AB prices which are the 3rd column and NOT the Pre-Tax Price). Thank you for your understanding** How to order (1 of 2 ways): 1) You can do a Parent Payment Plan with Scholastic: - You create an account with Scholastic online - Use your Credit Card to purchase the items - using AB prices - Return the Order Form to the teacher with the CODE written at the top of the form - The teacher will then order all items from all families together 2) You can use a personal cheque and send it back to school with the completed form: - Fill out the order form at the back - using AB prices - Return to the school paying with a CHEQUE only (Scholastic does not accept money) - The teacher will then order all items from all families together Thank you for your time and understanding, Mr. Engel |
